Prometheus- Magellan Concept WIP

This is my progress on a model patterned after excellent early concept art for the movie Prometheus done by artists Steve Burg and Ben Procter- I'm continually inspired by the fantastic art created for this movie. I found (and scanned) the reference image from the book "Prometheus- The art of the Film". It's of the ship called the Magellan- the predecessor to the Prometheus. I used the concept art as inspiration (you'll see in the reference image I included that I improvised in several areas). Moving on to other projects for now, but plan on revisiting this in a future reel. There is still a fair amount of geo and texture detail that needs to be added- especially in the dark empty cabin areas on the underside!
